2 · Simulated performance
The platform supports both paper trading (Alpaca paper account, simulated fills) and live real-money trading (your own funded account with your broker). All positions shown in paper mode are simulated fills at real market prices; live positions are real orders in your brokerage account, placed only upon your explicit approval through your own broker keys (Alpaca by default). Paper results — good and bad — have inherent limitations: fills may be better or worse than live markets would give, and short simulated periods prove little. Past performance, simulated or real, never guarantees future results. The service is not a broker-dealer, never holds your funds, and never places orders without your approval in either mode.
3 · Real options risk
Options are leveraged, expiring instruments; most expire worthless by design and sellers can face substantial loss, including assignment and the full spread width on credit spreads. Margin and "cash-secured" requirements mean real money is pledged the moment you sell. This site describes strategy mechanics — it does not reduce any of that risk.
4 · Human approval required
Every trade shown required — and in any future live version would still require — explicit human approval. Cards are candidates, not instructions. The engine is report-only by design; no representation is made that any approach shown will be profitable.
5 · Third-party data & marks
Market data is provided via Alpaca (delayed SIP on the free tier); charts are rendered by self-hosted Apache ECharts (Apache Software License — no third-party branding on charts). Their marks belong to them; the data they display is theirs too, with its own accuracy and delay disclaimers.
